Lozt says: 'Control, control, control. Through this medium we find ourselves, and through relinquishing my own, maybe Lozt will find you.'

Preacher Man
Performative Intervention, Chelsea College of Arts, London
A piece about communication, Lozt took as his inspiration the preachers he sees around London, who through attempting to give their messages, end up speaking to no one. Through the 'recording' function of the megaphone, he explores the idea of 'receive and transmit', to conssider how we consume and regurgitate our surroundings.
Fools Gold
Pissing Up a Wall, MAFA Gallery, Chelsea College of Arts, London 14/12/2017
Lozt examines the value of our most personal selves, and what may happen to that when it is cast into the public domain. Discussing the preciousness of experience, and the implications of losing ownership as fragments of reality are surrendered and reduced to a fleeting moment of entertainment. The reading of collected social media posts in gold on paper.
Unwanted Obstacle (Interaction)
Outside Seoul Station, 29/10/2016.
Intended to be about relationships and the ignored in society, this performance became more than the original intention when a member of the public engaged. Thus it carries the suffix 'Interaction'.
Originally, Lozt took control of the environment. The public man turned Lozt's control on it's head. Thus, the subtle nuance of meaning and nature of control and submissiveness emerges. Lozt was frightened, but Lozt approves.
Lozt says: 'There is little more unnerving than the stink of the pavement filling your nostrils as an unseen smelly man fills your consciousness and, uninvited, rubs roughly your smooth head'.

Screever
Mangwon Station, Seoul, 7/1/2017
Lozt expressed the unexpressable in the streets of Mangwon.
Lozt says: 'The impulse compels, the compulsion manifests. Through Lozt, the conduit, the Universe explains itself in a language Lozt can only meekly and poorly describe through simple marks. Listen! Can you hear the Universes song? What would you say?'

Super Markit
The Ultimate Victory of Neoliberalism
Lozt imagines a world where nothing is off limits, and everything is for sale. Can we be certain, asks Lozt, that this dystopia is not already here?
Mandroid (Leaf Story)
Outside Seoul Station 29/10/2016
Lozt engages the people through performance
In a desperate effort to relate, Lozt profers gifts of nature, found upon the cold stone floor. Will you take it? Some do, and a moment of beautiful clarity is created, to Lozt's delight. Then on to the next...
Lozt says: 'feel the warmth of the sun on your face, and know that you are but an expression of the Universe observing itself in unknowable torment at the beauty and mangled deformity it sees in the mirror. You, too, are, and we must all, be.'

Sijang
In this performance, about transience, commerce and the nature of value, the mute Lozt sits with his wares, roughly torn pieces of industrial cardboard he has collected from the street. Some he has coloured and, as such, represent his premium product, which he sells for 500. Uncoloured is priced at a competitive 300.
Sijang, the Korean word for market, is the title of this piece. It has been performed at multiple locations around Seoul. Above, Lozt is pictured in the famous Hongdae.
Notes: In Korea, the very poor can often be seen collecting cardboard which they then sell at special recycling banks. This back breaking work is often undertaken by the elderly who pull huge bundles around on cards or trolleys. However worthless this material may seem, to some it is an invaluable source of income. In this way nothing is what it seems, one mans trash is another mans living, and rubbish becomes product again. So far Lozt has made 2500 won in real money through this performance.

Gallury
'What is art?', the artists cry. Lozt took to the streets to present his drawings for all to see. In the height of summer, he called into question his wisdom in choice of clothing. Also, a small crowd gathered to enjoy his images and musings, and engage Lozt in conversation.
A simple piece with underlying subtexts including the nature of context, the joy of creation, and compulsion/obsession.
This performance of 'Gallury' was in Sinchon, Seoul. It has also been performed in Jamsil, and a version of it was also performed as a live painting event at Big Day South 2016 in Gwangju.
